Genie in a bottle is a liquid, highly pigmented color gel (paste) with extremely high viscosity (density), which comes in packaging with an ergonomic brush and is immediately ready for use. It has exceptional coverage and is used on processed, very well smoothed (buffed)builder gel. Due to its density and completely different texture from permanent polishes, it takes some time to adapt to such textures and working methods. Once you fall in love with it, nothing else will be good or covering enough!
Genie in a bottle is not a permanent polish, and its use on classic soft permanent polish bases is not recommended.
Instructions for use:
On processed builder gel or acrygel, with the brush laid flat, take a sufficient amount of product, do not press the brush against the surface, and gently spread the color (middle, then sides). It is important to spread the color evenly so that the entire nail is perfectly smoothed and to avoid thickening on the side parts.
Leave it for a few seconds to self-level and spread, then put it in the lamp (we recommend 2 x 2 nails at a time, and always polymerize thumbs separately).
Most colors are absolutely opaque in the first layer (even nude and neon colors), but we always recommend two thin layers for precision.
The use of a combined UV/LED full-spectrum lamp (365–405 nm) is mandatory (GIB will not cure in weaker lamps).
All our colors from the GIB collection are made and tested only with combined UV/LED full-spectrum lamps (365–405 nm).
If you have problems with wrinkling or speckles (bubbles) of color appearing after curing, first check what kind of lamps you are working with, whether they are due for replacement, and whether they reliably provide the strength indicated on them.
If you are sure that the lamps are strong and of verified power, try applying it in thinner, even layers and allow it to self-level. If more color remains in certain places on the nail, those parts will polymerize less effectively.
When you are running out of color, simply turn the bottle upside down to use everything.
