Genie in a bottle is a liquid, highly pigmented color gel (paste) with extremely high viscosity (density), which comes in packaging with an ergonomic brush and is ready for immediate use. It has exceptional coverage and is used on treated, very well-smoothed (buffed) builder gel. Due to its density and completely different texture from gel polishes, it takes some time to adapt to such textures and working methods. Once you fall in love with it, nothing else will be good or opaque enough!
Genie in a bottle is not a gel polish, and its use on classic soft gel polish bases is not recommended.
Instructions for use:
On treated builder gel or acrygel, take a sufficient amount of product with a flat brush, do not press the brush against the base, and gently spread the color (middle, then sides). It is important to spread the color evenly so that the entire nail is perfectly smooth and to avoid thickening on the sides.
Leave it for a few seconds to self-level and spread, and only then put it in the lamp (we recommend 2 x 2 nails at a time, and always polymerize thumbs separately).
Most colors are absolutely opaque in the first coat (even nude and neon colors), but we always recommend two thin coats for precision.
The use of a combined UV/LED full-spectrum lamp (365–405 nm) is mandatory (GIB will not cure in weaker lamps).
All our colors from the GIB collection are made and tested only with combined UV/LED full-spectrum lamps (365–405 nm).
If you have problems with wrinkling or speckles (bubbles) appearing after curing, first check what kind of lamps you are using, if they are due for replacement, and if they reliably provide the wattage stated on them.
If you are sure that the lamps are strong and of verified power, try applying it in thinner, even layers and allow it to self-level. If more color remains in certain places on the nail, those parts will polymerize less effectively.
When your color is running low, simply turn the bottle upside down to use everything.
