🌸Combination possibilities
Different effects are achieved with different combinations.
- subtle shine in a thin layer over builder gel, acrygel or gel polish
- more intense effect when used as a builder base to enhance the apex
- a combination of larger and smaller flakes and reflective particles mixed into semitransparent bases are an excellent choice for simultaneously subtle and striking effects.
For these bases, we recommend mandatory use of DuraGel 1 Step clear base so that during refills and glitter removal, we don't have to go all the way down to the natural nail.
Duragel gel polish colored base
Perfect texture, suitable for strengthening the apex (neither too thick nor too thin), with a self-leveling texture that greatly speeds up the entire application process. The base is harder but flexible enough for gel polish and natural nail movements.
Usage:
Prepare the nail by pushing or removing excess cuticles.
Shape the natural nail and prepare it with a file (not a buffer!), apply Nail Prep & Scrub dehydrator and Magic Airbond.
If desired, apply DuraGel Step 1, rub it well into the nail and seal the edges. Polymerize, then continue with the chosen colored base by first applying a slip layer, rubbed into the nail (do not polymerize), and then with a second bead, build the apex in the desired place and strengthen the nail.
👉Polymerization takes 90 seconds, exclusively in a combined UV/LED full-spectrum lamp (365–405 nm).
After drying, if there are minor imperfections, you can degrease the base and gently go over it with a file or buffer.
Apply color and top coat or leave the base as is and finish with a top coat.

Duragel Color bases open up countless possibilities – their application is almost unlimited!
As colored bases for gel polish – with or without apex building (we recommend building an apex and additionally reinforcing the layer for greater strength).
As standalone colors – gentle, elegant, and long-lasting.
As a base for french – for a perfectly neat and refined look.
As soft semitransparent shades – applied over builder gel or acrygel for a natural and elegant impression.
👉You can apply them:
in one layer over the gel – for a sheer, soft color effect
in two layers – for stronger coverage and a more intense look.
